I bought this dress for my 5 year old's father/daughter dance at school. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is a nice formal dress that has a full and fluffy tulle skirt with beautiful gold sparkles on it. To me, the fact that this dress has a surplice v neck top on it makes it look so elegant and unique from the typical A-line dresses.It also comes with a rhinestone broch that is onto the silk belt that I removed because she wore all rhinestone shoes and it was a little much. It is very pretty though and just clips on like a safety pin. I ordered a size 6 and I believe it is a true size 6, my daughter is between a 6 and 7 so it fit her well, but if you are buying in advance may want to buy a size up. It was tea length on her, she just felt like a princess! This would be gorgeous for a wedding or any formal event. The gold sparkles do come off easily, of course that didn't bother her at all. Just something to take into consideration. It did arrive a little bit wrinkled, but I hung it up and by the time she wore it four days later all of the wrinkles were gone. I love this dress, it looks very elegant, is great quality and most of all my daughter looked gorgeous in it!This dress is even more gorgeous in person. The blue is both deep and bright, and the sequins sparkle beautifully. It ran true to size. My daughter is almost 12, but she is on the small side since she has Down Syndrome. The size 10 fit her to perfection.My only complaints are that, first of all, some of the sparkles on the dress rub off easily at first. It would be good to rub the dress down or shake it really well before wearing to avoid the sparkles rubbing off on your child's skin. Secondly, there is zero elasticity or give in the empire waist band. This dress may fit my daughter perfectly right now, but it won't grow with her at all, which is nice in children's clothing.Overall, however, I'm thrilled with this product. It came exactly as advertised, along with both looking and feeling very high quality. Well worth the money for a special occasion dress.We used this dress for a fairy tea. It was absolutely perfect; we modified it a bit so my daughter could be a "Harry Potter" fairy/snitch. The thing is, as a typical dress, this is unwearable. It sheds glitter at the same rate as an upturned craft bin full of the stuff. It is truly beyond excessive and as none of the glitter seems to actually be attached to the dress, shaking it out would remove all the glitter. The internal lining also is more aligned to a dress up costume than clothing. It has a very plastic like texture that my daughter felt uncomfortable in. An undershirt and shorts corrected the issue, but unless your child is attending a fairy ball, there is no way they would be able to practically wear this.It looks just like pictured. I had no problem matching it to shoes and gloves. It is nice and full and looked good out of the box. One thing though is the glitter goes everywhere. It arrived weeks before needed so I took it out side and shook it several times. The night she wore it the glitter was everywhere. It vacuumed up and I would purchase the dress again without hesitation.My daughter wore this for her third grade talent show. She normally wears a size 10 with room to spare but with this dress I had to use a wire hanger just to get it to zip up. Very pretty dress and it is well made thank goodness or else she would have busted thru that zipper while she was on stage!After searching and searching for a dress for my daughters pageant I finally decided on a dress that I thoughtwould be nice for her. I was quiet dissappointed, as soon as I took the dress out of the packing the glitter that was on the dress fell all over the carpet and got on all over me and my daughter. I proceeded to try the dress on her and the glitter was all over her hair. I did not care for the way it fitted in the upper torso so we decided to just sent it back. I thought about keep it but I could not chance the glitter getting into her eyes. The glitter was the major factor in sending it back. As I fold the dress to put it back in the package I notice one whole side was without glitter of course it was all over my floor, my daughter, and myself. Very Poor Quality.I loved this dress it was adorable but the glitter didn't stick to the dress well and it made quite a mess. The size fit well and true to size.very pretty SPARKLY dress. These were flower girl dresses for a NYE wedding. My big issue with them is that the glitter gets EVERYWHERE, the house, the car, the carpet, the venue, etc. They served it's purpose, the girls felt like princesses, but I hate the glitter.
