The dress is very cute and my daughter loves it. I would say that it is a bit long for a 4yo. I'm hoping that the shoes I bought her will lift the dress off the ground a little. I just look at it as, better too much than not enough. Made very well. The material is nice, not too thin or cheap looking. I would definitely recommend this dress.Purchased for my 11 year old for her first pageant. She wears a size 8-10 and the 8 fit perfect. We weren't in love with the fabric or the cut. Also, it looked a little too much like a princess dress up gown for an 11 (almost 12 year old). Would probably be better for someone younger. The dress was just "okay". We decided to return it and order something else in a different price range so that the fabric would be higher quality.I is perfect, and I was surprised when I seen the matching sash that came with it, add bonus... If there was 1 issue it would be, because it was folded small to fit in the package, it has fold lines which has to be removed by a dry cleaner.My niece loved this dress. It is very pretty and fitted her just rightthe dress looks and fit just like the picture...Love it
